Rooted in rhythm and inspired by purpose, my journey flows like the notes of JalTarang — connecting people, cultures, and causes through the language of art.

As Paromita Goswami, I wear many hats — an HR professional at Transport for London, a trained vocalist, a mother, and the founder of JalTarang, an art initiative born to celebrate India’s melodic soul worldwide.

JalTarang, meaning “a melodic percussion,” is my humble attempt to translate that belief into action. What began as an art platform curating original performances and cultural projects has grown into a movement — one that celebrates Unity in Diversity and strives to revive Indian classical arts on a global stage.

My work with JalTarang has been recognized on international platforms, including an invitation to speak about the initiative on a BBC talk show and a special opportunity to meet the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, as a representative of JalTarang.

As the world heals and redefines itself, JalTarang is stepping forward — expanding from a virtual platform into corporate productions and cultural events across the UK, USA, and India. Together with a passionate team of strong, independent Indian women, we are committed to curating projects that echo stories of culture, social reform, and artistic harmony.

What began as a passion for exploring and showcasing cultural diversity through rich artistic expression has grown into a mission with greater purpose. Today, we elevate meaningful social stories and support important social causes—bringing culture, narratives, and the performing arts together on one powerful platform.
